What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobile Service Advisor position at Opportunities?

Mobile Service Advisor Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinate service scheduling, dispatching and invoicing of all mobile service operations.
- Assist in the effort to manage and maintain the efficiency, professionalism and profitability of the mobile service division.
- Interacts with various dealership personnel, manufacturer representatives and customers.
- Receive any and all customer requests coming to mobile service division via phone, email or other means of communication.
- Set up appointments for service customers.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of product warranty coverage and be capable of informing customers of applicable coverage’s.
- Check OEM databases for any applicable campaigns, updates or upgrades on all upcoming scheduled services..
- Prepare service quotes for any additional work recommended and secure customer’s authorization for the quoted repairs.
- Follow up on parts orders needed to complete repairs and consult with customers on possible repair options.
- Inform customers of any changes or delays.
- Inform Service Manager of potential problem areas and/or customer concerns.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Mobile Service Advisor Nature and Scope:
This position has close contact with customers, other departments and works closely with the department management to efficiently address customer’s needs and requests. Overtime and on call situations will be occasional. Individual can expect pressure from need to complete work in a timely manner and to customer’s expectations. Keeping abreast of technology changes and new repair procedures is a career long activity.
Mobile Service Advisor Education and Skill Requirements:
A two-year vocational certificate is optimum with a minimum of two to four years of experience within a service dealership. Good organizational and communication skills required.
