What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Loss Prevention & Risk Management Field Investigator position at Opportunities?
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides administrative assistance to the Loss Prevention/ Risk Manager.
- Assists in answering and solving problems as they arise. Works across the organization to assist in cross-departmental communication.
- Provides excellent customer service to the stores.
- Coordinates communication regarding work and customer related injuries.
- Assists with the company's Risk Management Program
- Monitor DVR Systems for suspicious activity. Assist in gathering DVR footage from incidents regarding company liability/assets.
- Work with the local police departments on incidents, cases and community outreach where needed. Assists in managing and controlling inventory. Works with the Loss Prevention Manager to develop protocol to prevent inventory shrink in designated areas.
- Help promote Target Shrink Stores training and compliance.
- Promote teamwork and collaborate with all divisions to implement policies and procedures in assigned stores.
- Routinely performs audits and investigates sources of known losses.
- Conduct site safety inspections to make sure safety standards and procedures are being followed and the stores are operating to OSHA standards and communicating with Loss Prevention Manager.
- Opening and closing surveillance of store locations.
- Maintains Safety Culture in all assigned stores.
- Investigates all cash shortages in assigned stores.
- Investigate all high shrink stores and report back all findings to the Loss Prevention Manager. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Conduct site safety assessments and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Perform basic site build-out tasks and oversee the installation and maintenance of security cameras.
- Assist IT services with onsite camera and server functions as needed.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement to ensure the safety of our customers.
- Manage asset forfeiture and reimbursement processes through local, state, and federal jurisdictions.
All other duties as assigned.
