Position Summary
Crow Holdings seeks a highly motivated Sustainability Intern to join the team in Dallas, TX. This position will involve cross-functional collaboration with sustainability, investment management, and investor relation teams, providing valuable insights to guide decisions related to strategy, operations, and ongoing initiatives for asset-level value creation. Additionally, the intern will apply AI-driven insights to enhance operational efficiencies and ESG reporting across the real estate portfolio. Primary responsibilities included but are not limited to:
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide environmental performance data analysis (energy, water, greenhouse gas emissions, waste, physical climate risk, etc.)
- Prepare submissions and data analyses related to leading ESG ratings/rankings to ensure data accuracy and completeness, including but not limited to GRESB, UNPRI, and CDP
- Develop sustainability content for internal and external communications, as well as content for intranet, external website, investor presentations, Q&A documents and event briefing documents
- Research and develop reports on sustainability trends impacting the company, customers and other stakeholders, and complete benchmarking projects with recommendations on opportunities for continuous improvement
- Support the Director of Sustainability in executing the sustainability strategy and program and tracking of progress against the company’s sustainability goals and metrics
- Assist with development of sustainability initiatives, projects, and strategies based on financial modeling to improve sustainability performance
Desired Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred Business Management, Real Estate, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or ESG/Sustainability), Graduating Spring 2026 or pursuing an MBA
- Experience working in ESG and sustainability, including knowledge of ESG frameworks and ratings such as GRESB, GRI, UNPRI, and CDP preferred
- Ability to compare, compute, compile, copy, analyze, coordinate, synthesize, instruct and communicate.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and work both independently and with a team
- Eagerness to accept new challenges and bring new ideas to the table
- Critical thinker nimble with financial analysis and numerical data with a focus on concrete and quantitative back-up for positions taken
- Builds effective relationships, inspires and builds trust among team and internal and external stakeholders
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (i.e., Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros), Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Experience working with Real Estate focused ESG and/or energy management software platforms (i.e. EnergyStar Portfolio Manager, Measurbl, etc)
- Experience with programming languages and AI models
- Passion for sustainability and green buildings
