What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Systems Manager position at Opportunity Bank of Montana?
Opportunity Bank of Montana is looking for a strong leader to guide and manage our Business Systems Administrators team. Under the direction of the Director of Information Systems and Technology, the Business Systems Manager's essential functions would include:
- Manage the Business Systems Administrators team including the supervision, direction, mentorship, coordination, and training of team personnel.
- Coordinate the daily staffing and workflow of the Business Systems Administrators team to meet obligations and schedules.
- In collaboration with the Technology department management, develop and execute Business Systems Administrators team goals, projects, and initiatives.
- In collaboration with the Technology department management, supervise the development of team personnel.
- Assist with budget development and oversight of technology related acquisitions, resource allocation, and vendor management.
- Manage, configure, implement, and maintain designated bank systems and software.
- Ensure the change management process and procedures are utilized and procedures remain current.
- Proactively seeks out ways to make system improvements and efficiencies, providing recommendations to management and/or system stakeholders.
- Meets with the lines of business on a regular basis to ensure that bank system needs are being met, requests are properly prioritized and engage in forward looking conversations for process improvement.
- Conduct research on new software, products, services, and vendors, providing recommendations to management and/or system stakeholders.
- Organize and facilitate user training on assigned bank systems.
- Demonstrate proficiency in managing and completing a variety of new and ongoing projects within budgets and deadlines.
- Lead, be a subject matter expert, or a project team member for assigned projects.
- Create and maintain procedure manuals, training material, forms, and system documents.
- Serve as liaison with third party vendors and assist with maintaining vendor agreements.
- Manage the interviewing/hiring of candidates for Business Systems Administrators team.
- Assist with bank exams and audits.
