Opportunity Bank of Montana is adding to our outstanding team with a Loan Servicing Compliance Officer. As our Loan Servicing Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for development and coordination of compliance efforts for loan servicing including policy and procedure review/development, self-monitoring, and management. Performs duties under general direction and supervision:
- Develop, implement, assist, and/or advise on the development and implementation of compliance policies, procedures, and/or forms and disclosures that affect the Bank's Loan Servicing Department including those regulations promulgated by the CFPB, FRB, the state of Montana or other regulatory agency.
- Develop and implement compliance testing strategies and methodologies, in coordination with Opportunity Bank's Loan Servicing Department, to ensure compliance with loan servicing related regulations and procedures and timely dissemination of compliance information and materials to department staff.
- Ensure effective and timely implementation of all changes to compliance policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with the Director of Compliance during federal and/or state regulatory agency examinations. Furnish examiners with requested information as it relates to compliance.
- Coordinate with the external auditors during audits. Furnish auditors with requested information.
- Oversee loan servicing compliance training curriculum.
- Prepare and / or present various periodic reports to the Board of Directors, Audit Committee, Chief Risk Officer & Chief Administrative Officer, and Director of Compliance.
- Collaborate with other departments as needed to address, investigate, and resolve compliance issues.
- Develop and implement operational compliance initiative and projects.
- Assist and serve as back-up to the Bank's Director of Compliance, where specified.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements
4-year college degree (accounting, business, economics, finance, management, or related) and 2 years relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

4-year college degree (accounting, business, economics, finance, management or related) and relevant college coursework or equivalent combination of education & experience Knowledge of bank lending regulations such as HMDA, CRA, the Small Business Lending rule (1071), TILA, RESPA, ECOA, Fair Housing Act, SAFE Act Federal registration, FCRA and other consumer finance related laws and regulations General knowledge of financial institution products, services, mortgage origination processes, secondary market, or loan servicing activities Experience in research and investigation Knowledge of effective training techniques
Licensing/Certification Preferences
Professional compliance certification from recognized professional banking industry association (e.g., ABA, ICBA, MBA, etc.) or the ability to meet this requirement within 12 months of hire.

Salary : $58,742 - $93,573
