Opportunity Bank of Montana is adding to our outstanding team with a Mortgage Loan Processor. As our Mortgage Loan Processor, you will perform tasks required to ensure that the initial disclosure package to the borrower is complete and accurate in regards to TRID legislation. You will manage the pipeline to key benchmarks including internal service level agreement time frames, contractual dates, and lock expiration dates. You will provide excellent customer service by effectively communicating and cooperating with all internal/external customers.
- Review initial loan application for completeness and ensure that initial loan disclosures are accurate
and timely in regards to TRID requirements. - Review initial loan submissions to ensure that all required loan documentation is provided by the
loan officer, or work with loan officer to acquire all necessary documents, prior to submitting loan to
processing. - Prepare daily updates and send out communication to Mortgage Loan Officers and/or Loan Officer
Assistants. - Manage a pipeline of loans and maintain timely and compliant flow of such loans through the
process. - Ensure all work is performed within company defined standards and guidelines.
- Monitor and ensure contractual dates and company deadlines are met.
- Keep abreast of changes in policies and procedures, standards and regulations applicable to the
company and the mortgage industry. Understand and apply local, state and federal regulations
related to processing mortgage loans. - Comply with all Home Loan Division Policies and procedures.
- Verify the data collected and determine whether it meets guidelines or if other documentation is
needed; document communication through the conversation log; ensure loan application is in
compliance with underwriting, investor, RESPA and HMDA guidelines. - Calculate income and review assets and liabilities for adherence to published guidelines and formal
underwriting decisions based on loan program borrower is applying for. - Monitor rate lock information for data integrity and expiration dates; communicate discrepancies to
the Loan Officer. - Prepare "Declination Letters" and ensure accurate disclosure of the reason(s) for the adverse action
as soon as it is determined that applicants do not qualify. - Perform other related duties as assigned.

Salary : $18 - $31
