Transportation services can be from various community locations, including, but not limited to residential homes, community activities, places of employment and the Opportunity Builder’s main location in Millersville, Maryland. This position will be required to provide assistance to individuals entering and exiting the vehicles.Essential DutiesTransporting individuals by driving an agency vehicle and / or your own personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement.To act in a manner that is dignified, respectful, and honors the individual’s rights, preferences and needs as determined within the person-centered plan (PCP).Provide, monitor and maintain a safe work environment in the vehicles, including proper use of wheelchair tie-downs.Provide accurate and quality documentation of all services provided, in accordance with OBI, state, and federal regulations by entering data as requireAttend external meetings, conferences and trainings as needed / requested by supervisor.Participate in ongoing in-service training and maintain all state, federal and OBI required trainings.
