JOB HIGHLIGHTS
Responsibilities:
- Ability to support individuals to live independently in their community
- Work as a mentor and build relationships with individuals to assist them to connect to their community
- Ability to support individuals with daily activities needed to live independently. This can include, but is not limited to cleaning, cooking, laundry, medication support, bill paying and personal care support
- Ability to develop community relationships that fosters connections between the person supported and community organizations (volunteer or join a club for example)
- Ability to make decisions and work independently
- This position requires a company email address which requires an application to be downloaded on your personal cell phone for multi-factor authentication (MFA) to ensure cyber security.
- Reliable vehicle (unless determined exempt with HR)

Requirements:Qualifications:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- At least two (2) years of experience working with persons with disabilities or in a mentor/teaching position that assists individuals in learning skills and providing them independently.
- Experience and understanding of community resources and methods of teaching independent living skills
- Valid driver’s license with safe driving record and insured vehicle available for daily use
