Job Summary
The Opportunity Healthcare team is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Urgent Care team in Union County, OR. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will assess, diagnose, and manage various health conditions while promoting wellness and disease prevention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' medical history, perform physical examinations, and order diagnostic tests as necessary
- Determine diagnoses and develop treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals
- Prescribe medications, provide vaccinations, and offer preventive care services
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health records (EHR) systems
Work Environment:
This full-time position offers a flexible schedule with 10-12 hour shifts, averaging 15-20 patients per day. A scribe is provided for providers who see 15 or more patients daily, and X-ray capabilities are available on-site.
