NEW INCREASED STARTING RATE $18.75 per hour.
We are looking for individuals with a caring heart and good work ethic to help us care for and assist our wonderful clients. This employee would be assisting our pediatric and adult individuals with developmental disabilities. Starting rate is $18.75, this includes a 6% attendance bonus. We also guarantee RAISES EVERY 6 MONTHS for the first 2 years! Employees are offered 401K with a 4% safe harbor, personal hours and vacation time (up to 5 weeks), 8 paid holidays including your Birthday, and insurance benefits available for employees working 25 hours a week. You must be 18 to apply.
This is a Union position
We are looking for part time afternoon shift Employees (3p-11p) and also part time midnight shift (11p-730a) Employees can also pick up open shifts to get more hours if they want.

Job Summary
As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities or those requiring assistance in their daily activities. This position involves providing compassionate care and supports. You will be responsible for ensuring resident rights are respected while promoting independence and dignity.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meals, programs and promote independence.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Implement individualized care plans tailored to meet the specific needs of each client.
- Support clients in engaging with their communities and participating in social activities.
- Monitor and document client progress, changes in condition, and any concerns regarding their health or safety.
- Ensure a safe environment by assisting clients with mobility and lifting when necessary.
- Uphold resident rights by advocating for the needs and preferences of clients.
Experience
- Previous experience in caregiving or direct support roles is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential.
- A compassionate demeanor and a commitment to providing high-quality care are critical for success in this role.
