General Responsibilities/Job Summary
Meet the daily needs of shelter clients, staff and volunteers, while maintaining a safe environment for all stakeholders.
Essential Functions/Duties
- Oversee the daily activities of program participants
- Meet the needs of program participants –
- Interact with staff and volunteers on related matters
- Complete participant intakes
- Complete required paperwork and document for program related maters
- Document in log book –
- Train new staff as needed
- Complete incident reports
- Perform quarterly fire drills
- Complete monthly reports
- Attend staff meetings as needed
- Perform related work as required
Minimum Qualifications
Education/Training:
· High School Diploma/GED
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
· Ability to read and write and a high school level
· Ability to accurately and neatly complete program documents
Experience:
· Six (6) month prior experience working with the homeless population or previous personal experience with homelessness is perferred but not required
