Part time is up to 29 hours per week, we schedule based on staff availability within shifts that we have. Must submit availability monthly and commit to working the scheduled hours based on each month's communicated availability.
Highest need for Direct Support Staff is evenings and weekends. Overnight positions are also available, 10p-8a, 2-3 nights per week.
Full Time positions available for applicants with flexible availability.
Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with disabilities in daily tasks such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients.
- Understand and support individual rights and promote independence.
- Accompany clients to appointments or out in the community.
- Document client progress and any incidents accurately and timely.

Qualifications:
- Demonstrated compassionate, positive, and energetic demeanor toward others. Starting with the interview process and following through to on-the-job, to be a Direct Support Staff at OMI, you must bring positivity, participation and interaction with clients, and willingness to do all the job duties expected of you. We provide paid training, Med Administration training, and therapeutic intervention training.
- Valid Class D Driver's License with motor vehicle record that is acceptable to the Org's insurance standards.
- Dependable attendance, on time to every scheduled shift and training.
- Contingent upon successful completion of DHS Background Study.

Starting pay range for this position is $16-17/hr. Overnight sleep shifts paid at minimum wage (can sleep at work on designated sleep shifts only).
