What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Care Behavioral Support position at Opportunity Networks?
Seeking a fun and reliable person to support a young man with disabilities in following a set schedule of daytime community activities. This individual experiences mild behavioral challenges which become nonexistent when basic routines are followed and behavioral support plans are followed. Scheduled activities include, but are not limited to with health and wellness, daily living skills, adaptive sports, and personal hobbies.
This is a community-based position. It is not home, or facility-based. It offers the chance for staff to develop community activities to work into the weekly schedule.
We will consider part-time or full-time applications, but cannot accommodate half-days.
For full-time employees, we pay 90% of our employees' health, and dental/vision insurance premiums.
No nights. No weekends. 13 paid holidays off.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have a valid driver’s license, a car, and proof of auto insurance
- Clean criminal, DCYF, and BAAS background checks
- Ability to treat everyone with respect, dignity and equality
- Ability to physically assist people with daily activities
