Job Summary:
As an Employment Specialist, you will coordinate support for people with disabilities to secure independent employment in the community, helping them grow their skills and gain independence to the greatest extent possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist and support people with disabilities in securing independent employment in the community.
- Develop and coordinate a support plan to ensure successful independent employment for people with disabilities.
- Assist people with disabilities in developing and enhancing their work skills in real-life situations.
- Bring meaning to their lives by facilitating jobs they enjoy.
- Grow and develop their social skills.
Requirements:
- A desire to make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities.
- A high school degree or GED.
- A valid Driver's license.
