What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Manager position at Opportunity Stanislaus?
We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to join our team! You’ll be responsible for directing all maintenance and equipment modification activities to ensure compliance with all quality objectives, safety programs, and achievement of production throughput. The manager will be responsible for the development of maintenance staff by providing leadership and direction to meet the demands of both external and internal customers. You’ll select vendors and suppliers, lead and manage projects, and function as the site technical liaison between the site, corporate, and OEMs.
Responsibilities Include:
- Responsible for facility and equipment repairs. Maintain maintenance department budget, including labor, parts, and services
- Determine the root cause of failures and appropriate corrective actions. Coordinate preventative maintenance, repair, and services of plant equipment. Explore predictive and autonomous maintenance strategies
- Establish, maintain, and enforce effective safety programs within the maintenance department which includes contractors. The program will meet all County, State, and Federal laws and regulations and will aid in achieving safety-related objectives for the division
- Responsible for miscellaneous capital budget for the plant
- Organize and facilitate plant projects, timelines, and budgets
What you’ll bring:
- Experience with CMMS, AutoCAD, programming, and troubleshooting food process equipment
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field, or a minimum of 5 years in maintenance with 5 years in maintenance management
- Experience with Automation equipment and packaging and filling equipment
- Strong knowledge of ammonia systems

Salary : $94,550 - $130,000
