Position Requirements:
- 15-28 working hours per week
- Duration: 3-months from start date
- Competent writing abilities
- Desire to learn more about the communications industry
- Strong research and computer skills
- Enthusiastic, motivated, and cooperative personality
- Professional manner and attitude
Position Duties:
- Monitoring the press and social media for client-specific and industry-related information
- Shadowing client meetings with account drivers and note-taking
- Assisting with materials for strategic planning for clients
- Drafting letters, memos, marketing materials, news releases, clip packages, and other documents
- Planning and participating in community outreach and education programs
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Experience
- Currently attending or graduated from an accredited higher education institution
- General knowledge of local, state, and federal governments
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite
