Responsible for assisting daily operations and overall business objectives for a multi-experiential live music venue, bar and restaurant. Model teamwork, service, and integrity to foster a positive and productive work environment. Work with a team to deliver exceptional service to guests through unforgettable experiences.
- Assist with staff and operations on the restaurant floor, ensuring that guest service and operational needs are met.
- Provide clear and specific communications to staff. Direct interaction with server trainers/leads and trainees.
- Conduct daily pre-shift in an upbeat and motivational manner. Ensure opening/running/closing duties are completed.
- Ensure standards are met regarding staff uniforms, quality of service/food, timeliness of food, guest relations, etc.
- Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through work area throughout shift.
- Ensure comfortable atmosphere in room (lighting, temperature, music volume, cleanliness-line of sight).
- Assist in scheduling staff according to business needs, conduct POS voids/closing comps, and assist with liquor pulls.
- Conduct 100% table visits. Ensure consistent and positive guest service in all areas through continuous interaction and feedback requests. Anticipate and respond to guest needs.
- Ensure responsible alcohol service per local ordinance, alcohol awareness training and company policies. Request proper ID per company policy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures, including proper operation of POS terminals, collecting money from guests, processing credit card transactions accordingly, and reconciling financials at end of shift.
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to leadership. Follow and support brand standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Communicate and uphold all corporate standards, guidelines, policies and procedures in accordance with local, state and federal laws and regulations. Maintain personal integrity by abiding by and supporting the values and principles of the company. Follow and support brand SOPs. Participate and respond to the annual company audits.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience
- Experience in restaurant operations required
- POS check and cash handling experience
- Supervisor or leadership experience strongly preferred
