Coordinate and execute local marketing and promotional tactics to grow business and achieve targeted results for designated venue with Opry Entertainment Group (OEG). Work closely with corporate marketing and venue leadership to impact growth and profitability of a restaurant, bar, and entertainment destination. Reports to General Manager with dotted line to OEG's corporate marketing leadership.
  • Ideate, implement and execute, in alignment with broader strategy, in-venue marketing tactics, including promotional communications, collateral and displays; brand-wide, localized and sponsor/partner event activations; and lead generation promotions that achieve traffic and sales goals and business objectives.
  • Support private events in marketing strategy and execution in driving venue rental and catering business. Lead communication and coordination for private event sales from initial inquiry through execution, ensuring seamless planning, exceptional guest experience, and alignment with Ole Red's brand standards.
  • Create, coordinate, manage and maintain in-venue marketing collateral (screens messaging, rack cards, promotional fliers, table tents, promotional signage, sales packages, brochures, etc.).
  • Evaluate and continually monitor local market to determine and adjust optimal marketing strategies, including hotel occupancy, convention data, visitor trends, visitor profiles, local economy, and competitive set.
  • In coordination with corporate marketing, create, support, and execute local social media coverage and communications for the brand and local venue, and provide local assets and on-site event/activation support as needed. Manage and maintain local website and social media platforms with timely information and event calendars, including performances, localized promotions, private events, and other operational components of the business. Execute marketing campaigns to drive sales for ticketed events.
  • Manage guest sentiment reviews, action items and strategies to improve number and quality of reviews.
  • Partner and execute customer and data capture initiatives with corporate marketing team.
  • Actively develop and cultivate local relationships, partnership opportunities, and marketing initiatives that support the brand and drive traffic and sales growth. Manage partnerships with local vendors, freelancers or other marketing suppliers as needed.
  • Coordinate with venue and sales leadership to refresh menus periodically, leading the process by receiving approvals for layouts, copywriting, proofing, and printing.
  • Engage in and understand overall venue marketing budget. Manage localized spend with a cognizant understanding of monthly programming. Partner with corporate marketing to ensure timely payments and accruals for fiscal month-end close. Participate in monthly operating reviews, providing programming results while communicating opportunities and recommendations.
  • Evaluate event and activation effectiveness with trackable KPIs directly tied to venue operations and marketing goals (revenue, covers, PPA, audience acquisition, etc.) and report findings to venue and corporate leadership.
  • Serve as point of contact for local press and public relations efforts needed and by request by corporate marketing and communications teams. Refer press inquiries and heightened public relations issues to corporate communications in appropriate timeframe.
  • Ensure all marketing efforts align with corporate-defined brand standards and strategic marketing plans.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education
  • Degree in Marketing or related field preferred; a combination of practical experience and education will be considered
Experience
  • 3 years marketing experience required; restaurant marketing experience preferred
  • Use of and experience with social and digital media marketing required
  • Experience with ticketed show/event marketing preferred

  • Maintain personal integrity by abiding by and supporting the values and principles of the company
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Design software knowledge and experience, including Adobe Creative Suite
Licenses / Certifications
  • Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record required
