The Ticketing Representative will serve as the front-line sales and information representative for guests visiting the Grand Ole Opry House Box Office. This role will provide excellent guest service when responding to questions and requests while maximizing sales opportunities and revenue.
- Provide friendly service in a fast-paced environment while professionally meeting service and sales expectations.
- Know the products, services, and history. Effectively communicate and share knowledge of company attractions and specific services and offerings. Stay up to date with all current promotions and advertising campaigns. Stay informed and aware of other attractions and events within the local region and direct guests appropriately when they inquire.
- Must be proficient with ticketing systems used by OEG. Accuracy of input data is paramount to ensuring world-class guest service, guest satisfaction, and revenue generation.
- Must work quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining an attitude of calm helpfulness to the guests and an efficient sales service for the company. Assist guests by problem-solving when changing reservations to accommodate their personal circumstances, misunderstandings, and complaints. Resolve and de-escalate any service issues
- -escalating to supervisor when necessary and appropriate.
- Problem-solving is a responsibility of the position including assisting guests in changing reservations to accommodate their personal circumstances, misunderstandings, and complaints.
- Perform daily cash-out procedures balancing tills and sales, following the established company guidelines and procedures.
- May be responsible for making out-going calls as assigned to make guests aware of event schedule changes, to collect balances due, or for marketing purposes.
- Must be familiar with ticketing systems and equipment functionality, contacting the appropriate person immediately reporting specifically which functions are not performing appropriately.
- Be receptive to ideas, training, and feedback from leadership and training team to continually improve and enhance sales and service.
- Work with OEG Marketing to improve guest purchase experiences. Must maintain and update files; effectively communicate account details quickly and smoothly when inquiries are made.
- Must be familiar with emergency evacuation procedures and assist in quickly moving guests and employees at least 300 feet from the building.

Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience
- 1 years experience in guest service preferred

- General computer skills required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Guest service experience preferred
