What are the responsibilities and job description for the Close Protection Officer (Military-Combat Experience/Law Enforcement Recommended) position at OPS Security Group?
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Perform mobile and static low-profile/covert protection and counter-surveillance in a solo practitioner capacity
– Perform security driver duties in support of the Client
– Conduct advance work and report on gathered intelligence
– Liaise with local authorities when applicable emergency situations arise
– OPSEC and COMSEC should be practiced throughout the entire length of the contract
– Develop and maintain emergency response action plans for identified risks and threats
The CPO's mission is to protect all people, information and property assigned, while delivering on high end customer service. CPOs represent the front line of our security services. In this role Close Protections Officers (CPO’s) can expect to be working in demanding and fast paced environments. CPO's may find themselves working in a wide range of areas to include medical centers, government facilities, hospitality venues and public events. Additionally CPO's will be asked to work with a firearm.

- Possess at least one of the following experience criteria:
- 1.) 4 years of combat military / law enforcement / armed security experience 2.) Successful completion of a state or federal certified law enforcement training academy
- Basic computer and phone skills (Email, Microsoft Office, Signal, Whatapp, etc.)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient time management skills
- Reliable transportation
- Excellent de-escalation skills
- Proficient firearms skills
- Combat Life Saver/Basic Life Saver
- Extensive use of force knowledge
- Proactive problem solving skills
- Must be able to obtain state required armed security officer license
- Ability to obtain OCAT, PATH, and PPBT certifications
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background investigation, urinalysis screening and OPS training requirements

o Run 800 meters in 4 minutes or less; followed by a 10 min break

o Perform 10 knees to elbows
o 200 meter sprint carry (100 lbs)
· Ability to use force, up to and including deadly force, when reasonably justified
