This role will oversee the financial functions, including accounting, banking, tax compliance, payroll, the HRIS system, and 401(k) plan administration. This is a tactical and strategic role.

Director of Finance Responsibilities
Financial Management & Strategy
Lead and manage the accounting, finance, and tax functions to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with all financial regulations.Develop and execute financial strategies that align with the companys goals and long-term vision.Analyze financial performance and generate reports to provide actionable insights for the executive team to support strategic decision-making.Accounting & Compliance
Oversee the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.Ensure full compliance with GAAP standards, tax laws, and other relevant financial regulations.Supervise financial audits, tax filings, and corporate reporting requirements.Banking & Treasury Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions, overseeing cash flow, lines of credit, and investment strategies.Optimize working capital, liquidity, and manage financial risk.Payroll, HRIS System & 401(k) Administration
Manage payroll processes, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely execution.Oversee the HRIS system, ensuring integration with payroll, benefits administration, and financial reporting.Administer the 401(k) plan, ensuring compliance with ERISA regulations, monitoring plan performance, and coordinating with third-party administrators.Collaborate with HR on financial aspects of employee benefits, compensation planning, and labor cost management.Budgeting & Forecasting
Develop and manage annual budgets, financial projections, and cost control initiatives.Provide timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to the executive leadership team.Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to ensure operational efficiency.Risk Management & Internal Controls
Establish and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate fraud risks.Continuously monitor financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations in financial transactions and reporting.Director of Finance Qualifications
8 years in finance, accounting, and strategic financial management, preferably in service-based industries and multi-entity accounting.Bachelors degree in finance, accounting or similar.Proven success in leading financial teams and managing multi-million-dollar budgets.Proficiency with accounting software, payroll systems, HRIS platforms, 401(k) administration, and banking relationships.Strong understanding of GAAP, tax compliance, and financial regulations.Expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and risk management.Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.Director of Finance Preferred
