What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1st Shift Material Handler/Shipping Associate position at OpSource Staffing?
Opsource has partnered with a local facility in Simpsonville, SC that is looking for a Material Handler / Shipping Associate to join them on first shift!
Forklift experience a plus but not needed (This company can certify you on a forklift).
Shift : 5 : 30AM - 5 : 30PM Saturdays as needed
Pay : $16.00-17.00 Ample OT available
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
The Material Handler Associate will be packing parts and products into wooden crates for shipment and then nailing them shut. Occasional quality inspection, check invoices and docking receipts. Ample overtime is available, most employees average about 10-15 hours of OT a week and Saturday availability is required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS :
- Have prior Metal Fab production experience.
- Sit down forklift experience a plus.
- Able to work 12 hour shifts
- Hand and power tool experience
- Able to read blue prints.
- Able to read tape measure.
- Good basic math skills
- Able to read a Tape measure.
- Able to read Drawings.
- Able to read Work Orders.
Salary : $16 - $17
