Electrician

The Electrician  is responsible for performing a range of electrical, pneumatic, mechanical and other shop duties including but not limited to the following :

  • Install and connect skid wiring from control panel to electrical devices
  • Install rigid and flexible conduit and associated wiring
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems including 480VAC, 120VAC, 24VDC and 4-20mA
  • Install stainless steel and poly pneumatic tubing
  • Operate existing water treatment equipment
  • Complete miscellaneous maintenance assignments
  • Any other duties as assigned by supervision

Qualifications :

  • Two year electrical or electronics technical degree or five years of experience.
  • Three plus years of electrical installation and troubleshooting experience.
  • Journeyman License preferred
  • The ability to read and follow electrical and mechanical prints.
  • The ability to read and comprehend component manuals.
  • The ability to perform various mechanical tasks
  • Strong knowledge of NEC electrical codes.
  • Adaptability to changing project requirements and schedules
  • Critical thinking with exceptional problem-solving skills, able to work independently or in a team environment.

    • Rate of pay would be between $20 - $25.
