Quality Lab Technician

OpSource  is excited to partner with a reputable Powder Coating company located in Inman, SC. We are currently seeking a skilled QC Technician to join their team.

Overview :  A QC Technician ensures product quality and that production lines operate efficiently by conducting timely inspections and approvals of production line samples.  This includes determining clean, color, gloss, and physical property specifications using various laboratory test equipment.  Core functions include cleaning, spraying test panels, documentation, analysis, testing, and decision making. Small hand tool manipulation for cleaning, assembly, and operation of various mechanical laboratory machinery and test equipment. Assisting with product sample preparations and other laboratory product development work are also expected cross training functions.

Hours :  This position will train on 1

shift and then be on a split shift which is 10 : 00am – 6 : 30pm Monday – Friday.  Once trained will go to a full second shift, the hours will be 3 : 00pm – 11 : 30pm Monday – Friday.

Starting Pay : $18.00 / HR
