What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Technician - Textile Product Tester position at OpSource Staffing?
Opsource has partnered with a growing company in Honea Path, SC who is looking for an experienced Quality Technician who will be responsible for monitoring the weaving process, inspecting for quality, and performing minor repairs to ensure efficient production.
Hours :
- 3rd Shift - 12 : 00 AM - 8 : 00 AM
- MUST TRAIN ON FIRST : 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM
Pay : $16.25 / hour
Responsibilities :
Quality Control : Inspect finished fabric for defects and adjust as necessary. Perform all routine lab tests in accordance with consensus test methods and SOP’s.
Troubleshooting and Maintenance : Address minor mechanical issues and conduct routine maintenance to keep looms in good working condition.
Record Keeping : Document production data and report any issues or changes made during the weaving process. Verify that tests were recorded in the AS400.
