What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weaver-3rd shift position at OpSource Staffing?
Opsource of Spartanburg is seeking a diligent, detail-oriented Weaver to join a local Textile plant in Enoree, SC .
As a weaver you will feed yarn and thread through guides and rollers to weave and knit materials on machines. You'll have a good eye for color, texture and pattern, as well as a knowledge of yarns and textiles.
Pay : $16.00 / hr plus .75 shift differential
Hours : 3
shift (12am-8am), will train on 1
shift (8am-4pm) for a few weeks.
Days : Monday to Friday
Responsibilities
- Set up the weaver machine
- Thread needles by hand
- Ensure attention to detail throughout the process
- Inspect products to ensure patterns are correct
- Pick count and identify any defects or anomalies in the fabric
- Flag down fixer apprentices if a quality issue is identified
