- Position Summary : Multiple temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant positions available in the Nursing Department.
- Days / Hours : Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.
- Start Date : Position available on or after September 9, 2024, and ending on or before May 31, 2025. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.
- Job Description / Duties : Duties include but are not limited to :
Assist in portraying sick and afflicted patients for student nurse training.
Memorize script, scenario, and patient details for simulated nurse training.Assist in supporting Simulation Director, Simulation Operations Specialist, and Nursing faculty.Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :Preferred Qualifications :
Previous acting experience.
Previous simulated patient acting experience.Good communication skills and the ability to work well with a variety of faculty and students.Demonstrates the ability to take direction from Nursing faculty and staff.Required Qualifications :Undergraduate students must be registered / enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall / Spring units.
