Optalis Shelby is looking for a dedicated Activities Aide
Optalis Shelby is looking for someone to join our Activities department to continue to daily enrich the lives of our residents.
Duties will include :
- Complete Recreation assessments
- Implement activity care plans
- Lead therapeutic group programs
- Ice Cream Parlor / Socials
- Transport residents to / from activity programs
- Provide individual activity visits in rooms as needed
- Documentation in electronic medical record
- Attend department and facility meetings as scheduled
- Provide encouragement, motivation and support to residents during activity program
- Assist residents as needed to ensure successful participation
- Adapt activities as needed to resident level of functioning or abilities
- Work well under supervision of management and leadership in facility
