The Registered Nurse (RN), LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) will be responsible for providing quality patient care in a healthcare setting. The RN/LPN will work closely with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and patients to ensure that all aspects of patient care are addressed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient health problems and needs
- Develop and implement nursing care plans
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families about healthcare issues and management of illnesses
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Ensure that all patient care is delivered in accordance with established standards of care
Qualifications:
- Current RN/LPN license in the state of Michigan
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
