Responsibilities:
- Supervise patients to and from appointments, clinics, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities.
- Ensure that all patients have the necessary documentation or information for their appointments.
- Maintain a compassionate and professional demeanor, offering support to patients who may have mobility issues, special needs, or require extra assistance.
- Monitor patients during transport for signs of discomfort or distress and promptly report concerns to the healthcare provider or relevant staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff to ensure a seamless transport experience.
- Follow all safety guidelines and healthcare regulations, including infection control procedures.
- Keep detailed records of transportation, including departure/arrival times and any incidents or special accommodations needed.
- Respond to emergencies or unexpected situations during transport as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in healthcare, caregiving, or customer service is preferred.
- Ability to lift or assist patients with mobility challenges, including using appropriate lifting techniques or equipment.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered attitude.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently.

Working Conditions:
- This role may require flexible hours depending on patient needs, typically M-F daytime.
- Physical stamina is required, including the ability to assist with patient mobility and safely load/unload equipment.
