Job Summary
The Weekend RN Unit Manager is Part Time and is responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring that quality patient care is provided on weekends. This position requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
This Position Requires 2 Years in Supervisory Role.
Previous Long Term Care Experience Required.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the nursing staff on weekends
- Ensure that patient care is provided in accordance with established standards and protocols
- Assess patient needs and develop care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records
Qualifications
Physical Demands
The Weekend RN Unit Manager may be required to stand, walk, sit, lift, bend, and reach. They must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and push / pull up to 100 pounds. They must also be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
