Job Title: API Tester Service Virtualization
Location: Auburn Hills, MI or Frisco TX - LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY. NO RELOCATION

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled API Tester with a strong background in service virtualization to join our Shared Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying virtual services to support web, API, and messaging systems across multiple applications.
The ideal candidate will work closely with application and development teams to gather requirements, estimate effort, and deliver reliable, scalable virtual services. This role plays a critical part in enabling continuous testing by leveraging Broadcom Lisa Service Virtualization (formerly CA Service Virtualization) and supporting ongoing performance and automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with application and development teams to gather virtualization requirements
- Develop and maintain virtual services for web, API, and messaging systems
- Create detailed implementation plans for virtual services
- Design, build, and test virtual services using Broadcom Lisa Service Virtualization
- Troubleshoot and remediate issues in virtual services
- Estimate work efforts and timelines for service virtualization deliverables
- Support and maintain existing virtual services
- Contribute to the service virtualization strategy and maintain supporting documentation
- Collaborate with performance testing, test automation, and test management teams
Required Experience & Skills:
- Strong experience in Java development
- Hands-on experience with API testing and validation
- Experience with messaging services such as MQ
- Experience with service virtualization tools, preferably Broadcom Lisa
- Solid understanding of testing concepts and continuous integration workflows
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in performance testing or automation frameworks
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Previous experience working in a shared services or enterprise QA environment
