Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Business Analyst / Technical Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background combined with excellent business acumen. This role involves bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, gathering requirements, conducting testing, and supporting the overall product delivery process. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and cross-functional teams to ensure that business requirements are effectively translated into actionable tasks, and that project goals are met on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering & Documentation:
- Facilitate and lead requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business owners and stakeholders to understand and define business needs.
- Translate business needs into clear and actionable business requirements, user stories, and test cases.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for business and system requirements, ensuring traceability to project objectives.
- Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Create and execute test scripts, manage test results, and analyze test outcomes.
- Coordinate and manage testing phases to ensure the product meets the business requirements.
- Work closely with QA teams to ensure successful implementation of technical solutions.
- Stakeholder Management & Communication:
- Run stakeholder meetings to ensure alignment and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Articulate business needs and technical requirements to ensure mutual understanding.
- Collaborate with program/project managers to break down product visions into achievable goals and deliverables.
- Maintain strong communication across teams, escalating risks and issues as needed.
- Technical & Business Solutions:
- Analyze existing systems, processes, and workflows to identify areas of improvement and recommend efficient solutions.
- Assist in the integration of business applications and modifications to existing software systems.
- Drive end-to-end production support incident management, including root cause analysis and client engagement.
- Work closely with developers and architects to ensure the technical feasibility of business requirements and the seamless delivery of solutions.
- Agile Methodology:
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with business product owners to convert business requirements into actionable epics and user stories for development teams.
- Ensure that project timelines and delivery schedules are met, while managing risks and obstacles.
- Strategic & Analytical Thinking:
- Employ strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to drive the success of the project.
- Utilize creativity and attention to detail to overcome challenges and think outside the box.
- Break down complex projects into attainable progress goals, ensuring projects are delivered on time.

- Experience & Education:

- A degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
