Job Title: Service Virtualization Engineer
Location: Auburn Hills, MI or Frisco TX
Onsite Requirements: 2 days onsite a week required

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Service Virtualization Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with application and development teams to gather requirements, plan and implement virtual services using Broadcom LISA (DevTest), and support the overall service virtualization strategy. Your work will help accelerate development cycles, improve testing capabilities, and ensure higher-quality software delivery.
- Gather requirements from application and development teams.
- Create plan to deliver virtual services.
- Create virtual services in Broadcom Lisa Service Virtualization.
- Test Virtual services.
- Remediate issues with virtual services.
- Deploy virtual services.
- Estimating work effort.
- Support current virtual services.
- Assist in driving virtual services strategy and documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with application and development teams to gather and understand service virtualization requirements.
- Develop detailed implementation plans for delivering virtual services aligned with project goals and timelines.
- Design, build, configure, and test virtual services using Broadcom LISA / DevTest.
- Troubleshoot and remediate issues related to virtual services to ensure high availability and performance.
- Estimate effort required to virtualize services and assist in project planning activities.
- Deploy and maintain virtual services across development, test, and QA environments.
- Support existing virtual services and update them as needed to reflect changing application behaviors or dependencies.
- Assist in defining and evolving the organization s service virtualization strategy, including documentation of standards, best practices, and reusable assets.
- Work with various data protocols and formats, including API (REST/SOAP), Java-based services, and messaging systems such as IBM MQ or similar.
- Participate in code and configuration reviews to ensure service quality and consistency.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Hands-on experience with Broadcom LISA (formerly CA Service Virtualization / DevTest).
- Strong experience in Java and understanding of object-oriented programming.
- Strong experience with APIs (REST/SOAP) and service-based architectures.
- Experience with messaging services such as MQ
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
