Compensation: $20 to $32/hr. DOE
Hours: Monday - Friday, 6am-2:30pm

Our clients manufacturing facility is located on 5 acres in Forest Grove, Oregon, flanked by the coast range on the west and the Cascade Mountains on the east. They began as a supplier of group operator air break disconnects, their product line has evolved to include motor operators, ground switches, surge suppression resistors, unitized phase-over-phase designs, to mention a few.
What You’ll Do:
The CNC Machinist plays a key role in the production process, responsible for machining parts made out of aluminum, copper, stainless steel, and brass by programming in G-code, setting up, and operating two different machines: an old Mazak and a brand-new Flex 22-ft table. This role also involves ensuring quality and safety standards, maintaining accurate records, and overseeing equipment and supply upkeep.

- Solidworks or AutoCAD experience preferred
- Read and understand drawings
- Machine set-up and operation of complex and quick turn prototype and production parts
- Experienced with metal (carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminum) machining
- Experience operating manual mills, lathes, drill press and surface grinders
- Leading machine setup/operator team members through multiple projects
- Training and technical lead for less experienced employees
- High School diploma/GED or an AS Degree
