This role is instrumental in driving the mission and strategic goals of the organization while ensuring program effectiveness, financial stability, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As a Community Supports Director, you will:
Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of all programs and services within the Community Supports Department.
Ensure program goals and objectives align with the organization’s mission and strategic plan.
Build and maintain partnerships with community agencies, stakeholders, and external organizations to enhance service delivery.
Monitor program performance using data and evaluation metrics to assess effectiveness and drive improvements.
Oversee financial management, including budget development, expense tracking, and resource allocation.
Identify and pursue funding opportunities such as grants and community partnerships.
Supervise, develop, and support department staff, ensuring adherence to policies and best practices.
Manage recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and retention efforts for department personnel.
Participate in leadership team activities, contributing to strategic planning and policy development.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to community support services.
Represent the organization in community meetings, conferences, and public forums.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
At least five (5) years of experience in program administration, community services, or a related field, with a minimum of three (3) years in a leadership role.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong leadership, organizational, and strategic planning capabilities.
Experience in budget management, financial oversight, and grant administration.
Excellent relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and program management software.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance, best practices, and policies in community support services.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
