Job Description Inside Sales Representative

Key Responsibilities:
- Take sales calls from current customers and look for opportunities through sales calls and web inquiries.
- Collaborate with Sales Manager and Purchasing Manager to prepare quotes and follow up.
- Provide exceptional customer service to customers and suppliers.
- Process quotes, enter sales orders, and provide customers with delivery information.
- Support the Purchasing Manager in purchasing tasks as needed.
- Expedite orders to ensure timely fulfillment and communicate any delays to customers.
- Notify customers about past due orders.
- Authorize customer returns, complete RMA forms, and communicate with VMI/Receiving.
- Work with accounting to create credits for customers.
- Support warehouse operations by providing clear information on all orders.
- Update customer information and contacts in accordance with accounting criteria.
- Experience with Fasteners, Automotive hardware, technical knowledge 1-2 years
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions, purchase orders, and correspondence.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Prior sales or customer service experience is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar programs.
