WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Oversee and manage the payroll functions for the company, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Implement and maintain payroll systems, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with the accounting department, consisting of four members, to integrate payroll functions with overall financial management.
- Provide thorough training and support to new team members, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll processes and procedures.
- Proven experience as a Payroll Manager.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CCP) certification desired.
- Extensive experience with QuickBooks.
- Experience working with non-profit organizations preferred.
- Comprehensive Medical/Dental/Vision insurance through federal FEHB plans.
- Eligibility for 6 weeks of PTO per year (10 hours per pay period).
- Paid sabbatical offered every 5 years (typically 6 weeks).
- 401K with contributions starting on day one and a 4% match after one year.
- 7% profit sharing.
- Flexible schedule available after the training period.
