Location: Anchorage, AK

Pay: $78K - $97K/year DOE

Opti Staffing Group is partnering with a well-established Alaskan company, founded in 1983, located in East Anchorage. This organization is dedicated to serving over 20,000 Alaskans annually through diverse programs, including employment and training services, career development, family preservation, and support for individuals recovering from substance abuse or incarceration. The company boasts financial growth and stability, ensuring a secure future for its employees.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Oversee and manage the payroll functions for the company, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Implement and maintain payroll systems, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with the accounting department, consisting of four members, to integrate payroll functions with overall financial management.
• Provide thorough training and support to new team members, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll processes and procedures.
  
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as a Payroll Manager.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CCP) certification desired.
• Extensive experience with QuickBooks.
• Experience working with non-profit organizations preferred.
