This is a great opportunity to launch or grow your consulting career by working on meaningful site investigation, remediation, and compliance projects across Alaska and the greater Northwest region. WHAT YOU’LL DO:
You’ll play a key role in supporting environmental due diligence, compliance, and site characterization projects for public- and private-sector clients. Your work will involve:
- Conducting historical research and supporting Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments
- Assisting with environmental compliance services and multi-media audits
- Supporting site investigation and remediation activities
- Performing fieldwork, including soil, surface water, and groundwater sampling
- Assisting with remediation system O&M, drilling oversight, and geophysical investigations
- Preparing compliance documents and permit applications related to CAA, CWA, and RCRA
- Analyzing environmental data and preparing visuals (maps, tables, figures)
- Drafting technical reports, plans, memoranda, and proposals
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, science, geology, chemistry, biology, or a related field (required)
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills (required)
- Willingness and ability to travel and perform fieldwork, including overnight stays (required)
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and satisfactory driving record for business travel (required)
- Medical monitoring, Health & Safety training, and client-required background/drug screening (required)
- OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training (will be provided if not already obtained)
- 1 year of experience in regulatory, environmental consulting, or industry roles
- Advanced degree in a related field
- Prior research experience in environmental contamination and remediation
