Skills and Requirements:
• 1 year of proven experience in hands-on work, machine operation other manufacturing-related experience.
• Ability to work in a team-orientated environment as well as working independently;
• Strong mechanical background.
• High attention to detail
• Punctual and dependable
• Very good organizational skills
• Ability to think logically
• Understand basic math and English (for safety measures and procedures within the work area)
• Understand written procedures, and can work unsupervised
• Basic computer use, can speak and understand English to ensure safety measures within the work area
• Minimum Age – 18 yrs.
• The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
THE ROLE
This role carries the primary responsibility of efficiently managing work orders for the fabrication of specialized Polyurethane and rubber belts. Additionally, it involves the vital tasks of handling, retrieving, and distributing the diverse materials essential for our production processes. Moreover, you will play a crucial role in identifying and, where necessary, implementing corrective measures to uphold our stringent production quality standards.

Core duties and responsibilities
• Uses hand and power tools to cut shape, splice, and slit various belt types used for fabrication.
• Accurately measures and assembles materials used in the fabrication process.
• Handles and applies different adhesives and other materials used for the application of belt backings.
• Operates various machines to grind, weld, cut, and shape different belt types and backings.
• Inspect fabricated products to ensure that they meet specifications and the company’s established quality standards.
• Follows safety guidelines and ensures safe operation of all tooling and equipment.
• Detects and reports equipment, materials, or any operation with improper or unusual conditions.
