Summary / Objective
The Inventory Specialist will work with the Inventory Planning Manager to ensure efficient demand planning, allocation, and replenishment of products to all distribution centers and retail stores. This role will also be responsible for monitoring international shipments from the manufacturers to final destinations.
Responsibilities :
Supports Inventory Leaders with analytics needed to process, predict and analyze product demand.
Review inventory levels and ensure locations are properly stocked.
Track inventory discrepancies and identify the root cause.
Support retail stores with inventory needs via Service Now and process cycle count reviews.
Support new store openings by ensuring proper inventory levels and distribution.
Pulls and analyzes reporting needed to alert Inventory Leaders of strong and slow sellers and make recommendations to optimize inventory productivity.
Monitor vendor performance reviews and track the achievement of key performance metrics.
Process quotes with different forwarders to identify cost effective shipping methods or carriers.
Monitoring all shipments from the departure location to final destinations.
Maintains updated and accurate data in all inventory and logistics trackers.
Supports action plans and current processes to guarantee the department goals are achieved.
Education and Experience
2 years experience in inventory planning and Supply chain management.
Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business or related field.
Experience in replenishment systems.
Excellent optimization mindset.
Advanced Excel skills and high proficiency in Microsoft Office.
International Logistics Experience is a plus.
ERP system knowledge is a plus.
Data analysis and visualization.
