Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical and network cabling systems
- Perform cable pulling, termination, and testing
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with cable connections
- Install and configure network equipment such as Cisco routers
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient installation and maintenance processes
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all installations
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles
- Proficiency in computer networking and telecommunications
- Experience in low voltage cabling installation
- Familiarity with Ethernet and telephone systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve cable-related issues
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in cable installations
Note: Prior experience as a Cable Installer or similar role is preferred, but we are willing to train candidates who demonstrate the necessary skills and aptitude.
