Optics&EYECARE, a leading optometry practice in Ashburn, VA, is searching for an enthusiastic and compassionate individual to join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Patient Care Coordinator/Front Desk Specialist.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Provide Exceptional Patient Experiences:
  • Greet patients warmly and professionally.
  • Answer phone calls with a friendly and helpful demeanor.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments.
  • Verify insurance benefits and assist patients with billing inquiries.
  • Streamline Office Operations:
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update demographics.
  • Assist with pre-testing procedures.
  • Order contact lenses and assist with the dispensing of eyeglasses.
  • Contribute to a Thriving Practice:
  • Demonstrate strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactively identify and address patient needs.
  • Contribute to a positive and efficient team atmosphere.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 years of customer service experience (preferred)
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Flexibility to work Saturdays

Job Type: Part-time

Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
