Responsibilities :
- Design electronic circuits, producing detailed design analysis, selecting electronic parts and integrated circuits for analog and digital high power density compact electronics designs
- Lead bench and field testing for the power electronics development, and analyze and troubleshoot to make sure it matches design requirements
- System integration and product development of novel AC-DC and DC-DC high power converters for EV charging and energy as a service application
- Actively involved in design for manufacturing process, as well as preparing production documentation and equipment for new product introduction
- Conduct design validation on prototypes to implement into the design, and be actively involved in design reviews, incorporate team feedback, and release the design documents for builds
- Firmware development and coding for the low-voltage signal boards designed, for board validation and system integration
Skills required for this position :
Qualifications :
Previous experience with automotive applications, battery chargers, grid interactive inverters, and familiarity with agency certification processes : UL, CSA, IEC, FCC, etc.
