Long term Locums APP in Urgent Care 12 months!

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) for an outpatient urgent care setting. While APPs are preferred, we will also consider qualified MD / DO candidates. This position is to fill a vacancy due to the sudden passing of a provider.

Key Requirements :

  • Current and active Massachusetts state license
  • Up-to-date CSR and DEA certifications
  • Experience in urgent care or emergency department settings
  • Proficiency with EPIC EMR

Schedule : A repeating 4-week rotation with no on-call requirements :

  • Week 1 : Wednesday 8 : 00am-7 : 00pm, Friday 8 : 00am-7 : 00pm, Saturday 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm
  • Week 2 : Sunday 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm, Tuesday 8 : 00am-7 : 00pm, Wednesday 8 : 00am-7 : 00pm
  • Week 3 : Wednesday 8 : 00am-7 : 00pm, Friday 8 : 00am-7 : 00pm, Saturday 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm
  • Week 4 : Sunday 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm, Tuesday 8 : 00am-7 : 00pm, Wednesday 8 : 00am-7 : 00pm

    • Patient Volume & Procedures :

  • 20-30 patients per shift
  • No trauma cases
  • Procedures include suturing, wound care, and buddy taping

    • Privileges :

  • Medical staff appointment only (no hospital privileges required)
