What are the responsibilities and job description for the Revenue Cycle Pro Fee Medical Coder (F/T) Remote position at Optim?
Optim Health System is seeking full time Medical Coder(s).
Job Requirements:
- Reviews orders for correct provider coding
- Works with external surgery coders and operations to provide best practice coding
- Creates training and documents on trending coding errors
- Reviews payers for new coding initiatives
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Additional requirements:
- Coding Experience, ideally in ortho, neuro spine and/or pain management.
- Good working with the providers and able to identify coding trends within denials and re-educate the providers and staff.
