Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee a portfolio of concurrent campus-wide technology initiatives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external vendors.
- Ensure smooth execution, campus-wide communication, and adoption of initiatives.
- Coordinate closely with departments to understand needs, gather feedback, and address adoption challenges.
- Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and manage risks and dependencies.
- Facilitate effective cross-functional collaboration across academic and administrative units.
- Influence and persuade stakeholders to drive buy-in and engagement.
- Report regularly on project status, risks, and success metrics to leadership.
- Ensure vendor deliverables align with university standards, timelines, and goals.
- Zoom platform migration
- University-wide data center consolidation and cloud migration
- Migration from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365
- Other digital transformation and enterprise IT initiatives
- 5 years of project management experience, preferably in higher education or large enterprise IT environments.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-departmental technology initiatives.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse teams.
- Experience working with vendors and third-party implementation teams.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira, Asana).
- Familiarity with campus IT ecosystems and enterprise collaboration platforms.
- PMP, Agile, or related certification is a plus.
