Strategic Project Manager
We are looking for a Strategic Project Manager to assist with the digital health transformation efforts within the Defense Healthcare Management System Modernization (DHMSM) program management office. This role will be supporting administrative, program management, and select front office support teams.
This role will drive high quality presentations that effectively communicate project goals and data to various stakeholders. This role will ensure presentations reflect the overarching product strategy of the organizations, including project specifics and within the demand management process. This person will also work with the Program Executive Office team to forecast appropriate materials for various product, platform, and support needs across. The ideal candidate is a former management consultant well-versed in PowerPoint and Excel. They will possess strong communication skills, capable of distilling complex ideas into clear visual presentations, and have the organizational acumen to manage multiple projects within deadlines. A collaborative spirit is essential for gathering necessary insights, data, and feedback from team members to craft effective presentations.
Success in this role will be defined by the ability to work in ambiguity and to produce visually engaging and data-rich deliverables that make complex information accessible and compelling. This person would be responsible for ensuring that all materials are not only informative but also adhere to organizational branding guidelines and are tailored to meet the needs of diverse audiences. This role would therefore have a pulse on operations within administration. Regular updates and refinements to deliverables based on stakeholder feedback will be crucial for continuous improvement in communication effectiveness.
This person should be able to keep up to date with industry best practices and consolidate and incorporate lessons learned. In addition, this person should drive work independently end to end, accurately prioritize responsibilities, and develop informed recommendations.
This role will work closely with BCG team members, government leaders, vendors, and subcontractors in support of the DHMSM program.
