Job Overview:
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to work directly for our developer leading the maintenance team and performing maintenance services for a luxury apartment community. You will be responsible for management and oversight of the maintenance team, as well as the building, facilities, and amenities in the community.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, mentor, and coach the maintenance techs.
- Plan, monitor, and evaluate team results.
- Oversee customer service and resident relations for maintenance to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ensure all make ready repairs and services are completed correctly and on schedule in accordance with the make ready procedures.
- Assess repair needs and estimated time for repair, including evaluating problems to determine whether professional assistance is required.
- Monitor the functions of service contractors and building repair and maintenance contractors.
- Identify potential problems, develop response plans, and manage crises using creative solutions for complex technical problems.
- Implement, manage, and oversee ongoing preventative maintenance with the team to ensure the property remains in top condition.
Requirements:
- 3 years of maintenance experience, onsite luxury property management experience preferred.
- Project management experience preferred.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, or Suite.
- EPA Type II or Universal certification required.
- Outgoing and positive attitude with exceptional customer service skills.
- Strong communication and people skills.
- Ability to work independently, expertly, and to multi-task.
- Reliable and responsive with a strong work ethic.
- Proven leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
- Effective at setting priorities and managing competing demands.
