Optima Medical is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to add to our growing team.
Job Responsibilities:
Process or review accounts payable invoices
Maintain accurate accounting records including documentation support
Coordinate with departments to get approval for payment
Conduct research and contact vendors for invoice discrepancies
Generate open accounts payable reports
Processes daily or weekly ACH payments and check runs
Assist with other department duties as needed
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Associates Degree with some accounting courses is preferred
- Work independently and ability to meet deadlines as assigned
- Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet applications, and electronic mail
- Basic knowledge of GAAP requirements and accrual accounting
- Attention to detail and accuracy
